Insurance Advocate

973-908-6570 x 701 | Doris@healthlinkadvocates.com

Professional History

Doris Zito has 25 years experience managing medical claims, following a career working in contract management and medical services for the Department of Defense.

Doris founded her business, Medical Claims Management, after helping an elderly family member navigate through a maze of medical bills during cancer treatment.  Zito realized that the issue of medical coverage was ever-changing, forcing patients to deal with insurance systems, hospitals and physicians who would regularly bill separately for their part in one treatment, leaving patients unprepared and ill-equipped to understand the most efficient and cost effective way to proceed.  Zito realized the need for an advocate to help those who had no idea of how to manage the onslaught of medical bills, while suffering with overwhelming health issues.

In ensuing years she has spent much of her time helping members of her community manage medical billing and health claims.

Zito joined Healthlink Advocates in 2014 with a focus on insurance and medical claims.
